ACG 2021: Research Highlights For Patients

Gastroenterologists Dr. Tauseef Ali and Dr. Pooja Singhal from SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK share their insights on several new and exciting studies that were presented at the annual American College of Gastroenterology Conference this past fall. Dr. Pooja Singhal

Pooja Singhal, MD, FACG, DABOM is a board-certified Gastroenterologist and Director of Women’s Digestive Health at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital. She completed her medical school training at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and an Internal medicine residency at the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Singhal received her fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the Georgetown University hospital as well, where she was selected as Chief Resident and Chief Gastroenterology Fellow.

Dr. Tauseef Ali

Dr. Tauseef Ali is a consultant gastroenterologist at SSM Health Saint Anthony Hospital. He is also Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma in the section of Digestive Disease and Nutrition and adjunct faculty at Oklahoma State University. He is the chief of the Gastroenterology Section at SSM Health Saint Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma, where he also serves as director of IBD clinical and research program. Dr. Ali graduated from King Edward Medical College, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine residency (2006) and Gastroenterology fellowship (2009) program from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He was also selected as the CCFA visiting IBD fellow at the University of Chicago (2008).
